War lasts — RoE

War lasts is a medium 72x72 underground map for Restoration of Erathia, rated Normal difficulty and built for eight players, all of whom can be human. There are no teams, and each color starts with one faction: Castle, Tower, Necropolis, Fortress, Stronghold, Inferno, Rampart, or Dungeon. Water covers about 43 percent of the map, with lava and dirt making up much of the rest. The author's description frames the story as a long conflict between the surface and Hell, which rises to challenge the upper world. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when they have no towns or heroes left. The map holds eight towns, 94 random monster stacks, and 55 mines, along with one creature bank. Dwellings offer creatures such as Angels, Hydras, and Behemoths, and placed artifacts include the Cards of Prophecy and the Dragon Scale Shield.
