War for Freedom — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
War for Freedom is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Armageddon's Blade, played on the surface at Normal difficulty. Five players can take part, with up to four controlled by humans and the Green player left to the computer. There are no teams. Blue plays Conflux, Tan plays Fortress, Green plays Rampart, Orange plays Tower, and Purple plays Castle. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly grass, with patches of rough ground, swamp, and snow, and there is no water. Across the map sit 28 towns and 8 heroes, along with 122 mines and 8 seer huts. Wandering monsters include Battle Dwarves, Centaur Captains, and Silver Pegasi, and several named artifacts are placed around the map.
