Battle for the Flaming City is a medium 72 by 72 surface map for Horn of the Abyss, rated hard, by Koxsik2004. Four players, each with a random faction, compete for a single fiery town, and the first to capture it wins. There are no teams, and all four seats can be human. Grass and dirt cover most of the land, with lava making up about 15 percent and water about 19 percent. Five towns, four starting heroes, and wandering monsters such as a Psychic Elemental, a Wyvern Monarch, a Nix Warrior, and a Naga Queen are scattered across the map. Players will also find 28 mines, 18 creature banks, four seer huts, 15 random artifacts, and Equestrian's Gloves. A player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
