W4. Обманчивая надежда. — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Deceptive Hope is a medium surface map of 72 by 72 tiles and the fourth scenario in a campaign whose maps share a storyline. It supports seven players, with only one human seat and six computer-controlled colors split into two teams. Red plays Dungeon against six Stronghold players. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The author recommends the highest difficulty and advises striking early, since the enemy grows stronger with each passing hour. The terrain is mostly rough with some subterranean ground and no water. Notable features include nine Cyclops King stacks roaming the map, a Titan's Cuirass, a Breastplate of Brimstone, and a Golden Bow among the placed artifacts, plus 31 mines and 11 seer huts.
