Confusion is a small 36 by 36 underground map rated Easy, made for Restoration of Erathia. It is the first chapter of a campaign whose scenarios are linked by a common story, and the author advises playing the maps in order on the highest difficulty. One human player can join seven computer-controlled colors, with no teams. The factions are Dungeon, Stronghold, Necropolis, Inferno, Tower, Castle, Rampart and Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and losing all towns and heroes ends the game. Rough, dirt, swamp and lava cover most of the terrain, with little water. Ten towns, 42 mines, a seer hut and a wandering Gold Dragon stack stand out, along with several placed artifacts such as the Amulet of the Undertaker.
