"Vive la Corrèze Libre !" is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, built for eight players, up to six of them human, with the remaining two colors controlled by the computer. There are no teams. Its story is a playful one: a careless remark made during a regional visit sparks a war between the presidential palace and the prime minister's office, and three familiar figures are already on the field. The factions are Inferno, Castle, Necropolis, Rampart, Fortress, Stronghold, Tower and Dungeon. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero. The terrain is mostly grass, rock, dirt and lava, with some water. The map holds 17 towns, nine heroes, 74 mines, 14 monoliths and portals, four magic tomes, and wandering elementals and beholders.
