Visit to the Queen — SoD

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

Visit to the Queen is a large Shadow of Death map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, with an underground level included. It is set for four players, but only one can be human, and the other three colors are computer-controlled. Players are split into three teams. The factions in play are Conflux for the Blue and Pink players and Dungeon for the Green and Purple players. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and the game is lost if a specific hero is defeated. The map is mostly grass, rock, and subterranean ground, with very little water. Its 40 towns, 56 mines, and 25 seer huts are spread across the land, along with many wandering elemental stacks and dwellings holding creatures such as Medusas, Minotaurs, and Red Dragons. Nearly a hundred random artifacts and a number of named ones are placed for the player to find.

Author's description
