Vantnor of the Swamp — RoE

Vantnor of the Swamp is an extra large, 144 by 144 map that includes an underground level, set for three players at Normal difficulty. Only one human player can take part, while the Red and Teal colors are controlled by the computer. There are no teams. Red fields Castle and Tower, Purple plays Fortress, and Teal plays Necropolis. The map is built mostly of rock, with water covering about 27 percent of its surface and grass about 16 percent. Thirteen towns and ten heroes are placed across it, and the wandering forces include Lizardmen, Swordsmen, Halberdiers, Demons and Green Dragons. Dwellings offer a wide range of creatures, and the map holds five named artifacts, 37 mines, a seer hut and two monoliths or portals. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while losing a specific hero ends the game.
