Untamed Land — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Untamed Land is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death with an underground level. It is set for four players, Red, Blue, Tan and Green, with only one human player allowed, so the other three colors are controlled by the computer. There are no teams. Red plays Rampart, Blue plays Fortress, Tan plays Dungeon and Green plays Stronghold, and the difficulty is Normal. The land is mostly rock, with dirt, swamp and grass covering much of the rest and water making up a small share. The map holds twelve towns, a Grail, forty-two mines, and many guarded creature banks, seer huts and monoliths. Wandering Thunderbirds, Rogues and Serpent Flies are common, and dwellings offer creatures such as Dendroid Guards and Green Dragons. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and the human player loses if a specific hero is killed.
