Unfailing Love is an Extra Large 144 by 144 underground map for In the Wake of Gods, set at Impossible difficulty. Its author describes a choice between love and war, with a loved one held captive deep below ground and every enemy to be defeated. Eight players share the map, with four seats open to humans and the remaining four Red, Orange, Purple and Pink left to the computer. There are no teams. The factions are Dungeon, Stronghold, Rampart, Fortress, Necropolis, Castle, Tower and Inferno, one for each player. Rock and water cover well over half the ground, with subterranean and grass areas making up much of the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Thirty-eight towns, 103 mines and 36 monoliths and portals are scattered across the map, and the Grail is placed on it.
