Under The Wings — SoD

Under The Wings is a small Shadow of Death map measuring 36 by 36 with a single surface level, built for four players who can all be human at Normal difficulty and with no teams. The author sets the scene as a realm long ruled by dragons, now contested by four challengers and the dragons themselves. Red plays with Castle, Tower, Necropolis, Dungeon and Stronghold, Orange with eight factions, while Tan and Green are assigned randomly. Water covers about a third of the land, with snow, subterranean ground and rough terrain making up much of the rest. Victory requires acquiring a specific artifact, and a player is defeated after losing all towns and heroes. Notable features include a Red Dragon, several golem dwellings, six Dragon Fly stacks roaming the map, eleven mines, and the Grail.
