Undead Madness — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Undead Madness is a medium 72 by 72 map for Shadow of Death that includes an underground level. It is set for three players at Normal difficulty, with only one human seat, so the Red Necropolis and Purple Conflux players are computer controlled, while the Green Rampart player is the human side. Teams are not used. Victory requires acquiring one specific artifact, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 45 percent of the terrain, snow about 26 percent, and water about 12 percent. The map has nine towns, thirty mines, and a range of dwellings, including Medusa, Beholder, and Red Dragon lairs. Many artifacts are scattered across the land, and wandering armies of Archangels and Royal Griffins guard parts of it. The description hints at an elementalist on an island who holds a powerful weapon.
