Ultimate Universe is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles, set on a vast continent of rock, grass, snow and water. Eight players can take part, all of them human-capable, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Seven colors start with random factions, while Teal begins as a Castle, Stronghold or Fortress player. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses once every town and hero is gone. The map holds 30 towns and a Grail, along with 125 mines, 11 seer huts, 32 monoliths and portals, and 5 creature banks. Wandering monsters include Master Genies and Ghost Dragons, and dwellings hold creatures such as Azure Dragons and Crystal Dragons. Its artifacts include Armageddon's Blade and the Crown of Dragontooth.
