Ultimate Battle — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Ultimate Battle is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, built for Restoration of Erathia and set at Impossible difficulty. Five players share the field across three teams, with up to two human players and the other three colors run by the computer. The factions are Necropolis, Tower with Dungeon, Castle, Rampart, and Stronghold. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. Rock covers about 45 percent of the terrain, with water, snow, and swamp making up most of the rest. Among the placed objects are 24 towns, 120 mines, 19 creature banks, and the Grail, along with several named artifacts and wandering elemental stacks.
