Two Brothers — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Two Brothers is a medium 72 by 72 map for two players, both played by humans, with no teams. After the king's death, his two sons split his realm, and a quarrel over who caught the largest fish leads them toward a final battle. Red plays Stronghold and Blue plays Castle, so the choice is between the wealth of magic and the strength of might. Water covers about a fifth of the land, and grass, dirt, and snow make up most of the rest. The map has two towns, four starting heroes, 18 mines, and a creature bank. Golem dwellings and a wandering Thunderbird guard parts of the land, and artifacts such as the Skull Helmet are scattered across it. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and the game is lost if the 84-day limit runs out. The difficulty is Normal.
