Treasure of the paladin. — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Treasure of the Paladin is a large, expert-level underground map for three human players, each controlling one town and hero from the Castle, Necropolis, or Inferno factions, with no teams. The map is 108 by 108 tiles and is mostly rock and lava, with some grass and a little water. Victory requires acquiring a specific artifact, and a player is defeated after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds five towns, 23 mines, and wandering monsters including a Bone Dragon, a Phoenix, and a Minotaur King. Dwellings offer Angels, Black Knights, and Nomads, and placed artifacts include Titan's Thunder and the Shield of the Dwarven Lords. The author's short rhyming note invites a lone hero to test strength or to gather friends for battle.
