Tower vs Fortress — WoG

Tower vs Fortress is a two-player medium map of 72 by 72 tiles, played on the underground level, and it is set up as a head-to-head contest between a Tower player in red and a Fortress player in blue. The author gives only a brief note describing it as a standalone entry in a series, focused on that matchup. Terrain is split roughly evenly between subterranean ground, swamp and snow, with no water. The map lists twelve towns and six heroes placed at the start, plus dozens of wandering monster stacks, with Rust Dragons the most numerous. Notable finds include Armageddon's Blade, the Elixir of Life, the Orb of Driving Rain and the Tome of Water Magic, along with 63 mines and 23 creature banks. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
