Tolkien's adventure V10 is a giant underground map for eight players, each controlling one hero and one starting faction, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The map covers 252 by 252 tiles with two levels, and it is rated for expert play. Water makes up about a third of the terrain, with dirt, grass and rough ground filling most of the rest. Factions include Necropolis, Castle, Rampart, Inferno, Stronghold and Tower. To win, a player must defeat all enemies, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The map holds 40 towns and a hero level cap of 15. Notable features include six Azure Dragons, several Archangels and Wood Elves roaming the land, and a set of named artifacts such as the Angelic Alliance and the Arms of Legion.
