Time of Testing is a medium Armageddon's Blade map of 72 by 72 tiles with an underground level and hard difficulty. Eight players share it, but only one may be human, and no teams are set. Red plays Castle, Blue Inferno, Tan Stronghold, Green Necropolis, Orange Rampart and Pink Conflux, while Purple and Teal each mix two factions. Victory means transporting a specific artifact, and a player is defeated after losing all towns and heroes. Water covers about sixteen percent of the land, and wandering foes include a Medusa, a Phoenix and an Ancient Behemoth. Nineteen towns, thirteen monoliths and portals, and placed artifacts such as the Orb of the Firmament add to the play.
