Time of Fire — RoE

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

Time of Fire is a small underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Restoration of Erathia, measuring 36 by 36 and set on a single level below ground. It is rated hard and supports four players, with only one human player allowed and the other three colors computer-controlled. Players form two teams. Red, Orange and Purple fight as Inferno, while Blue plays Castle. The map is dominated by lava and rock, with a small share of water and subterranean ground. Victory requires acquiring a specific artifact, and a player loses if a specific hero is defeated. Notable features include four towns, two heroes at the start, eleven mines, two creature banks, and the Grail, along with several placed artifacts and a number of wandering demon stacks.
