It supports four players, but only one can be human, and the other three are computer-controlled. The two teams pit Red, playing Conflux, against Blue, playing Inferno, Tan, playing Stronghold, and Green, playing Rampart. Water covers roughly 42 percent of the surface, with grass, snow and subterranean ground making up most of the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The map holds 11 towns and seven pre-placed heroes, along with wandering stacks of peasants, cyclops kings, green dragons and arch devils. Artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade and the Angel Wings are scattered across the map.
