The Undead Dungeon is a small 36 by 36 map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Shadow of Death, played across both the surface and an underground level. It supports two players, but only one can be human; the Blue side is computer-controlled, and there are no teams. Both the Red and Blue kingdoms are Rampart. The author describes two long-peaceful realms whose mines suddenly vanish, leaving each king to blame the other. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and the game is lost if the 35-day limit runs out. Grass, rock, dirt and swamp make up most of the land, with little water. Players will find two towns, six placed heroes, and a mix of wandering monsters such as ghost dragons, zombies and crystal dragons, along with artifacts like the Amulet of the Undertaker and Vampire's Cowl. The difficulty is set to Impossible.
