The Temple is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, rated Expert. Eight players are placed, with at most one human and seven colors controlled only by the computer, and no teams are set. Factions include Castle, Necropolis, Dungeon, Inferno, Rampart, Tower, Fortress and Stronghold. The author's short description names a war of shadows. Grass, lava, rock and dirt cover most of the terrain, and water makes up a small share. Twenty towns and nineteen heroes are placed, along with the Grail, several named artifacts, and wandering monsters such as skeletons, goblins and cerberi. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero.
