The Tale of the Mighty is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Armageddon's Blade, played on Impossible difficulty with an underground level. Eight players each control one of the eight factions, from Castle to Conflux, and all eight slots can be human, with no teams. The story follows the strongest heroes of eight clans, who are held captive by azure dragons, and players must free their own hero and face the dragons. Victory requires defeating one specific monster, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly rock, subterranean ground, dirt and lava, with no water. The map holds 48 towns, 25 heroes, 129 mines and the Grail, along with placed artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade, many creature banks and seer huts.
