The Seasons: Summer — SoD

The Seasons: Summer is a medium-sized map measuring 72 by 72 tiles, played on the surface only, for three players with no teams, and each player may be human. The factions are assigned randomly to Red, Blue, and Green. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The terrain is mostly grass, with swamp, dirt, and water making up the rest, and the author describes the map as centered on water, with swamps and rivers that must be crossed. Six towns are placed across the map, along with 21 mines, five seer huts, three creature banks, and a guarded quest. Scattered across the land are wandering dragons and golems, and dwellings hold beholders, halflings, and peasants. Four artifacts are fixed in place, including a few endless gold sources and an Orb of Inhibition, with five more placed randomly. The difficulty is rated hard.
