The Polinesian Story is a medium 72x72 underground map for Restoration of Erathia, played at Expert difficulty. Six players, all human-capable, each take a different faction: Castle, Rampart, Inferno, Stronghold, Fortress and Necropolis. There are no teams, and victory comes from eliminating every rival. The story casts the six players as rulers on a post-war island in Polinesia, each preparing for a final clash to decide who becomes its king. Water covers about 37 percent of the map, with rock making up most of the rest. Ten towns and eight heroes are placed, along with 17 mines, six creature banks, and a set of artifacts, including the Crown of the Supreme Magi and the Arms of Legion. Wandering Earth Elementals and Wyverns roam the land, and a timed event adds pressure.
