The Polinesian Story is a medium 72x72 underground map for six players, each commanding a single faction: Castle, Rampart, Inferno, Stronghold, Fortress, and Necropolis. All six seats can be human, there are no teams, and no computer-only colors are set. The setting is a post-war island where six rulers prepare for a final battle, and only the strongest may claim the throne of the whole island. Rock covers about half the terrain and water over a third, with grass making up the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing every town and hero. The island holds ten towns, eight heroes, and seventeen mines, along with wandering stacks of Earth Elementals, Wyverns, and Wood Elves. Artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and Angel Feather Arrows are placed around the map, and the map is rated Expert.
