The Order's Foundation — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Order's Foundation is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108 for Shadow of Death, set on the Impossible difficulty. Seven players take part, but only one can be human, and the other six colors are computer-controlled. There are no teams. Blue plays Castle, Tan Necropolis, Green Tower, and Teal Conflux, while Red, Orange, and Purple field Fortress. The author's text recalls the founding of the paladin order, looking back four years to that event. Rock covers nearly half the map, with grass, swamp, and water filling the rest. The map holds 11 towns, 35 mines, 20 monoliths and portals, and 8 creature banks. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero.
