The One Ring — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The One Ring is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for Armageddon's Blade, rated hard. Its premise follows the opening chapter of Tolkien's Hobbit, with the aim of recovering the famous ring of Middle-Earth. Three players share the map, but only one seat can be human, and the Red and Blue colors are computer-controlled. Two teams compete, with Stronghold, Necropolis, and a Castle and Rampart pairing on the Tan side. Victory requires acquiring a designated artifact, and losing a specific hero ends the game. Rock covers about 44 percent of the terrain, with grass, snow, and water making up the rest. The map includes 11 towns, 42 mines, six creature banks, two seer huts, and 11 artifacts, with hero level capped at 7.
