The Missing War Unicorn — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Missing War Unicorn is a small 36x36 single-player map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and Normal difficulty. You play as the Rampart faction, and the map has no teams or computer-only players. The story centers on an invading force that has seized some of your creatures. Your goal is to recover them and track down the enemies responsible. Terrain is mostly grass, with rock and subterranean areas making up the rest. Wandering monsters range from Pegasi and Cerberus to several Arch Devil stacks, and three artifacts are placed on the map: the Celestial Necklace of Bliss, the Dragon Wing Tabard, and the Quiet Eye of the Dragon. Victory requires accumulating creatures, and losing a specific hero ends the game. Six seer huts, two quest guards, and one timed event add further structure.
