The Magic Scrolls-SOD — SoD

The Magic Scrolls-SOD is a medium 72x72 Shadow of Death map with an underground level, set for four players on two teams, with all four human seats available and factions assigned at random. Players win by defeating every enemy, and they lose when all their towns and heroes are gone. Rock, swamp, water and subterranean ground make up most of the terrain, with water covering about an eighth of the map. The map holds eight towns and a large number of wandering monsters, including Wyvern Monarchs, Mighty Gorgons, Greater Basilisks, Grand Elves, Diamond Golems, Fire Elementals, Evil Eyes and Chaos Hydras. Among the placed artifacts are Boots of Levitation, Angel Wings and a Necklace of Ocean Guidance, alongside 29 random artifacts. The map also includes 40 mines, 17 seer huts, 16 creature banks and seven monoliths and portals.
