The Lord of the Rings — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This large 108 by 108 map includes an underground level and is rated Expert. Its victory condition is to deliver a specific artifact to Mordor. Six players share two teams, with up to three human players, while Blue, Orange and Teal are computer-controlled only. Red and Purple play Rampart, Blue plays Tower, Green plays Castle, Orange plays Dungeon and Teal plays Stronghold. Rock covers almost half the terrain, and dirt, grass and water make up the rest. Expect 26 Orc Chieftain stacks roaming the map, along with 13 creature banks, 42 mines and the Grail. A player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
