The Lord Of The Rings — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This extra large Armageddon's Blade map, 144 by 144 tiles with an underground level, follows the Lord of the Rings story. Players can take control of the hobbit Frodo and try to carry the ring to Mount Doom, or they can play another side and aim for total domination, with Sauron ruling Mordor. Seven players share the map, up to five of them human, and the computer controls Blue and Purple. Teams are split into three groups. Factions include Castle, Rampart, Inferno, Necropolis, Stronghold and Tower. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Wandering Trolls and Wolf Raiders roam the map, and Red Dragons are among the creatures found in dwellings.
