The Legend of Ingaard — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Legend of Ingaard is an extra-large underground map for Shadow of Death, sized 144 by 144 with an underground level and rated Expert. Seven players take part, grouped into three teams, with only one human seat and six computer-controlled colors. Each color fields a different faction, from Castle and Tower to Necropolis, Inferno and Fortress. The map is about 37 percent water, with rock, sand and grass making up most of the rest. Among the map's features are 15 towns, 81 mines, a Grail, and a scattering of artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and the Dragon Scale Armor. Wandering Magog stacks are the most common threat. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and a player loses by losing a specific town.
