The Last Battle — RoE

The Last Battle is an extra large underground map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, designed for eight players, with up to six human participants and two computer-only seats, Tan and Teal. Seven teams compete on a Hard setting, using the Fortress, Tower, Castle, Inferno, Rampart, and Necropolis towns, with several players assigned random factions. Grass covers about 40 percent of the terrain and water about 13 percent. The premise centers on two rival figures who are trying to link their realms before the player can stop them. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The map contains 42 towns, 16 heroes, 142 mines, and a wandering Gold Dragon, along with artifacts such as the Helm of Chaos and the Arms of Legion.
