The Forces of Evil is an extra large 144 by 144 map for Restoration of Erathia, with an underground level and Impossible difficulty. Seven players take part, with up to six human players and the Teal player controlled by the computer. There are no teams. The factions are Fortress, two Strongholds, Inferno, Castle, Necropolis and Dungeon. About 38 percent of the map is water, with grass and dirt covering much of the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Wandering stacks of Ancient Behemoths, Gold Dragons, Archangels and Chaos Hydras roam the land, and the Grail is placed on the map. The theme is a struggle against darkness in a chaotic world.
