THE END is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for eight players, with up to two human players and six computer-controlled colors split into four teams. The author's description suggests a doomsday setting where survival depends on your own efforts. It is set on Impossible difficulty, and about 28 percent of its surface is water, with rock covering much of the rest. Red and Blue get random factions, while Tan plays Tower and Stronghold, Green Fortress, Orange Inferno, Purple Conflux, Teal Dungeon and Pink Necropolis. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The map holds 23 towns, 32 creature banks, 25 monoliths and portals, wandering Azure Dragons, and placed artifacts including Armageddon's Blade.
