The Dwarven Discoveries — AB

The Dwarven Discoveries is an Extra Large underground map for Armageddon's Blade, built for four players, all of them human-capable, with no teams and random factions for each color. The author's description frames it around dwarven expeditions deep below the surface that went missing, leaving only rumors of what they found. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers roughly 46 percent of the 144 by 144 field, with grass, snow and water making up the rest. The map holds eight towns and a placed hero, along with 244 random monster stacks, wandering groups of Battle Dwarves, Ice Elementals, Gold Golems and Cyclops Kings, and a placed Grail. Notable artifacts include Armageddon's Blade and several sets of Legion armor.
