The Dream Reaper is an extra large underground map for Armageddon's Blade, sized 144 by 144 and rated hard. It is based on a set of short stories by H.P. Lovecraft, and the author frames it as the arrival of nightmarish horrors in Erathia. Eight players take part, but only one can be human, with the other seven controlled by the computer, and there are no teams. The factions are Inferno, two Strongholds, Conflux, Castle, Tower, Rampart, and a player holding both Necropolis and Dungeon. Water covers about 30 percent of the surface, with rock, grass, and sand making up most of the rest. Players win by defeating all enemies and lose when they have no towns or heroes left. Notable features include six Hydra stacks and a Titan among the wandering monsters, along with placed artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade and the Thunder Helmet.
