The Dragon Slaughter is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, set on a world where a lost angel's wing has pulled eight peoples into a shared search. Each of the eight players controls one faction: Castle, Rampart, Tower, Necropolis, Inferno, Dungeon, Stronghold, or Conflux. All eight slots can be human, with no teams and the Impossible difficulty. Water covers about 45 percent of the land. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The map holds 19 towns, the Grail, 43 random artifacts, 63 creature banks, and 25 monoliths and portals, with wandering Mammoths and Seamen among the roaming forces.
