The-Diamond — RoE

The Diamond is a medium 72 by 72 surface map for four players, each controlling one human-capable side, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The game is played on the Restoration of Erathia ruleset at Expert difficulty. Red plays Inferno, Tan plays Fortress, Green plays Rampart, and Orange plays Stronghold. The terrain is roughly a third water, with lava, grass, and rough ground making up most of the rest. Victory requires eliminating every enemy, and a player is defeated once all their towns and heroes are lost. The map features scattered wandering armies, including Archangels, Cyclops Kings, and Efreet Sultans, along with dwellings holding creatures from several factions. Fourteen random artifacts, eleven mines, three creature banks, and five monoliths or portals are placed across the land.
