The Big War — RoE

The Big War is a large 108 by 108 surface map for four players, with no computer-only colors and no teams, so all four kingdoms can be human-controlled. Each player starts with a random faction, and the victory goal is to defeat all enemies, while a player falls when they lose every town and hero. Water covers about 45 percent of the land, with grass and dirt making up most of the rest. The author notes that the kingdoms bring their best fighters while some Generals are absent, and that exploring the map is important because it holds many valuable things. Among the placed items are the Boots of Polarity, the Orb of Inhibition, the Sandals of the Saint, the Sentinel's Shield, and the Thunder Helmet, alongside 30 random artifacts, 30 mines, and 10 creature banks. Wandering Dread Knights, Dragons, and Liches also roam the land.
