The Avenger — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Avenger is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles, set in Restoration of Erathia at expert difficulty. Its premise is a son who must avenge his assassinated father and carry out the father's ambition to rule the whole kingdom, a task the description warns will not be easy. Four players share the map across three teams, but only one seat can be human, and the other three are computer-controlled. Factions in play include Inferno, Tower, and Rampart, and rock, lava, and water cover much of the land. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Expect wandering Ghost Dragons, Bone Dragons, and Scorpicores, along with artifacts such as the Helm of Chaos and the Red Dragon Flame Tongue, alongside 21 towns.
