The Adventures of Blademan — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Adventures of Blademan is an extra large, single-player-friendly underground-enabled map for Restoration of Erathia, set on a 144 by 144 board with both surface and underground levels. The author describes it as a light-hearted quest in which Blademan pursues musical domination while saving the world along the way. Two players are placed, with Red handled by the computer and Blue available to a single human player; there are no team alliances. The Red side brings Inferno, Necropolis and Fortress, while Blue fields Castle. Victory requires acquiring one specific artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Roughly a fifth of the terrain is water, with rock and grass also covering large areas and some subterranean ground. Sixteen towns and five starting heroes are spread across the map, which includes 27 mines, nine seer huts, 28 creature banks and many monoliths and portals.
