The 5th Element (Allies) is a medium 72x72 Armageddon's Blade map with an underground level, rated hard, for five players with up to four human participants. The fifth colour, Purple, is computer-controlled only. Three teams compete, and every player takes the Conflux stronghold. The map's premise is that the four elements were once separate and at war, and the player must bring them together. Victory requires acquiring a specific artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers just over half the terrain, with dirt, subterranean ground, grass and a little water filling the rest. The map holds nine towns, eleven heroes, thirteen mines, six seer huts, four creature banks and the Grail. Wandering monsters include Angels, a Hydra, a Firebird and several elementals, and placed artifacts range from Angel Wings to the Hellstorm Helmet.
