Its description places the land of Gilaina in a deep mystical crisis, with war approaching, the dead walking sacred ground, and a legend called the Gates of Shadow resurfacing. Players form six teams, and the Red player controls six factions while each other color fields one. Rock covers almost half the terrain, water about a fifth, with smaller patches of subterranean and snow. The map holds 21 towns, 16 heroes, 57 mines, the Grail, and a set of named artifacts. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero.
