Terra Obscura is an Extra Large underground adventure map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, rated Hard, for Restoration of Erathia. Eight players take part, with up to two human players and six computer-controlled colors, grouped into four teams. The factions are Inferno, Dungeon, Fortress, Stronghold, Tower, and Necropolis. The story continues an earlier rivalry between a snow prince and a hell emperor. The snow prince, aided by an allied knight, must defeat Lord Boesingham while five other tribes cause trouble. Victory requires defeating one specific hero, and the game is lost if the snow prince dies. The map holds 47 towns, 32 heroes, 135 mines, and the Grail, plus placed artifacts such as Angel Wings and Boots of Speed. Water covers about 19 percent of the terrain, and grass is the most common ground.
