Techno is a hard, medium-sized underground map of 72 by 72 tiles, made for Restoration of Erathia. Its premise is playful: a DJ is transported to a land ruled by disco polo and must defend techno and dance against rival acts. Three players are placed, with at most one human, and the Castle and Necropolis players in blue and tan are computer-controlled. The map has two teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and the game is lost if a specific town falls. Rock, rough ground, grass and dirt cover most of the land, with about 13 percent water. Highlights include the Grail, an endless bag of gold, 18 monoliths and portals, 36 mines, and wandering Hydras and Wyverns among 65 random monster stacks.
