Tarot of the Crown — RoE

Tarot of the Crown is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles, set on a normal difficulty level and played by four colors, with only one human player allowed and the other three handled by the computer. Players are on their own, with no teams. The factions in play are Castle for Green, Dungeon and Stronghold for Orange, Tower for Purple, and Fortress for Pink. The goal is to be the first to acquire a specific artifact, the sacred deck, and the defeat condition is losing a particular hero. Rock covers nearly half the terrain, with water and grass making up much of the rest. The map is scattered with wandering monsters such as a Genie, a Zombie, and an Ancient Behemoth, along with dwellings holding Pegasi, Red Dragons, and Cyclops. Six towns, 39 mines, and 17 random artifacts round out the setup.
