Tales Of The Thief is a small underground map of 36 by 36 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, rated Impossible. A thief finds herself trapped below ground with only her familiar and must get past the guards, reach the surface, and claim the treasure she came for. Seven players share the map, with one human seat and six computer-controlled colors split into two teams. The factions are Necropolis, Castle, Inferno, Dungeon, Fortress, Rampart, and Tower. Victory requires acquiring one specific artifact, and the game is lost if one specific hero falls. Water covers about a quarter of the terrain, with subterranean, rock, and swamp making up most of the rest. Notable features include the Grail, nine monoliths and portals, eight towns, and five creature banks.
